Good food but has never seemed to be as good as olive gardens I have gone to elsewhere. Service nice but a tad slow. The peach tea is good. Some consistency is lacking but food is good. Can be tough to get back out in the street from the lot. Very busy area. Salad as always is the best.

Olive garden food is the same in every state and every city, however, what makes the big difference is the customer service one receives at each location. This location had a terrible waitress. Overworked, not attentive and rude. We were there for lunch and the food was served fast but one felt like a number. The one star I am giving goes to the food. Our waitress was pouring water in my glass, while handling other things in the other hand and most likely not even while pouring. While she was filling my glass started splashing and spilling water all over until I finally had enough water on my shirt sleeve and said: "Whoa!" Instead of apologizing with sincerity she just said sorry and moved on. Did not inquire about my shirt being wet, the table being completely wet and disappeared. After approx. 10 minutes and she walking by our table without cleaning up the mess, I had to ask her to please wipe it up. She said: In one minute, please! I will never go to this location again, luckily I am visiting Las Cruces, so the chance that I will go to this location again is slim but it makes me feel like that I should be avoiding all Olive Garden locations in the future because the service is not getting any better but yet the prices are increasing.

Like everyone says, if you've gone to one Olive Garden, you've gone to them all. My kids are the only reason we ever go to Olive Garden, they don't seem to understand the concept that we could actually make better tasting Italian food at home. We had a $50 gift certificate so we said, "what the heck?" An hour later , we ended up spending more than $50 and still left hungry. Food is decent. Obviously corporate made, nothing authentic or special but when there are no other Italian Restaurants what can your ask for. Server was nice but she's fail to inform us that if you order an entree it is soup OR salad. My husband ordered the chicken fettuccini alfredo with salad then ordered soup. Our server did not tell us that it was an additional cost, in the past we have been able to you get both with no additional charge. That would have been a nice heads up, instead they tacked on $3.99 to our already inflated bill. Needless to say , thats our last trip to Olive Garden and when the kids are craving Italian food, we will open up a box of Chicken Helper.

Dude honestly if you've been to one Olive Garden you've been to all Olive Gardens. Also honestly if you are looking for reviews on Olive garden you've already made up your mind that you want mediocre, run of the mill, generic food, that it doesn't matter if this place was on the moon, run by pirates, or had the best reviews, you're gonna go to Olive Garden. Now I'm not saying there is anything inherantly wrong with this, or any other Olive Gardens, all I'm saying is that just like you dont go looking for McDonalds reviews (I really really hope you don't) you don't go looking for big chain reviews. their food is all meant to taste the same, they buy bulk art and hang it in every restaurant all around the world. But for real, you don't me to tell you.

The Olive Garden here is always bustling, servers running around everywhere & lots of smiling faces & full tummy's. The buy one take one home for dinner is a great deal. Yum. Yum.

By far the BEST experience I've had at Olive Garden. This is my first time in this part of the state, just traveling through. The service was EXCELLENT. Food was quick to the table and was some of the best I've had at the chain. If I didn't live 12 hours away from this place - I'd be here all the time.

Oh man! There have been rumors of an Olive Garden coming to Cruces since the 90's (embarrassing). I had to see it for myself when I heard it had really happened. The location: It's an okay one. Getting out of the parking lot can be a little tricky sometimes considering the condensed amt of businesses. But the parking lot itself is fine. The interior is nice! Pretty standard but newer so at least the cheesy decor isn't faded as well. Service has been good the few times I went. Once during lunch and another later in the evening. Food and drink: People get so angry with the quality and authenticity of the food. It's corporate so there are going to be some decent things and some stuff that's best to avoid. The new Chicken Florentine soup is so good! I like mine with the grated cheese on top. I usually order the Capellini Pomodoro. It's pretty much noodles and tomatoes. Once again with the cheese it's pretty good! I've had a Bellini at this location that tasted good but could have used a little more alcohol. ;-) I ordered one of their Margaritas and they brought out the shot of tequila in a shot glass. I liked that because then you know exactly what you're getting. They refill your soup with your old bowl? Like you use the same bowl for the endless soup. Is this allowed? I haven't seen this at other locations and I must admit, idk how comfortable I am about it. What if you get someone else's bowl? Other than a couple of to be expected snags and the awkward bowl situation, I would come back. It's a good place for a small group of people to go and catch up. Get the soup salad and breadsticks and share a few appetizers.

Ate there last night and had an awful experience. Went with the family and they brought the food out almost immediately after the salad. That's not really a bad thing but they only brought some of the orders at that time. then when we asked about the 2 missing orders they said "Oh..." and then brought 1 more. When they brought it, we asked where the other meal was, the server looked at me and said, "You already ate it didn't you". I was thinking, "Are you kidding?" After I politely said, "No, I only had my soup." she said, I'm sorry I'll go get it. Then after about another 6-7 minutes we caught the manager and asked about it. He was going to go check on it. He came out about 10 min later and said, "They're making it now, it should be right out, would you like it in a to-go box." I was frustrated but oh well. He said, I won't charge you for this plate... (he better not!). Finally, about 20 min later (yes, it took 2x as long to get it as the initial order). they got it out. when i got i back to my hotel, it was gross. I understand that people make mistakes, but when they continually fumble the recovery it's inexcusable.

Another major restaurant chain that happens to be here in Las Cruces. We don't visit the major chains as often as local owned restaurants, but as a chains go, the Olive Garden is one of the better ones to frequent. We always enjoy the salad and the bread sticks, especially the salads. Since I like spaghetti, I am usually very happy with my meal. Service has been just fine, the three of four times that we have been there, since moving here over a year ago.

What can I say I love italian food. Moscato, yum! I don't go there too much as I'm prone to pass out right after the bread and soup. But when I do I usually get something different every time. This most recent time I got a ravioli dish, I believe it was a limited time thing and it was delicious. The salad & breadsticks are great as always. And the service was good. We went when it was slow so that could be the reason it was so good too. Funny thing, the couple sitting in front of us had just gotten served drinks. And both got up to use the restroom. When they got back someone had cleared everything off their table, I was laughing too hard. I know how mean, but it sure was the highlight of the day.

Tasty. Family trip for my wife's bday. I had the mixed grill (chicken and steak). Very well cooked, flavorful but not overdone. Vegetables were a little overcooked, but would eat again.

A much overdue addition to the Las Cruces area. We had lunch, about a 20 minute wait, which is less than we expected. Our server Alyx was just super! Everything was fresh, crispy salad, just a great dining experience. The only fault which is to late to remedy is the restroom location. Every other OG we've been in the restrooms are in the entrance lobby. These are in the back and it causes quite a bit of congestion for the guests and servers coming from the kitchen from a narrow hallway into the narrow hallway that leads to the restrooms. Hope OG doesn't continue this trend in other new restaurants. Otherwise... Enjoy!!

An Olive instead of Romano's Macaroni Grill? You've got to be kidding me. Only in Las Cruces :o(

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
